United Yavapai Firefighters Local # 3066
Tom Haney, President

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We have 3 elections that are due in September so we need to address this and vote before the September Meeting. The positions are Secretary/Treasurer, Central Yavapai VP and trustees, and Chino Valley’s VP and trustees. The 2 chapters will hold a Chapter meeting and make motions for the offices for the chapter, submit the names to Ron Kayser for verification of attendance of one-third of the regularly scheduled meeting of this local within the year preceding the election. Then a mail out ballot will be sent to the chapter’s membership for voting. The results will be presented at the September 16th meeting.

This leaves only the Secretary/ Treasurer to vote on with the entire membership. Ron Kayser has made it known that he will be running for the position another term. I am calling on the chapters to hold a scheduled chapter meeting and make nominations for the position. The E-Board will convene and all candidates will be verified and ballots will be mailed to the entire membership.

I want to impress the membership that they should expect the very best from their Local Officers. It is your vote for the person who you think best represents these goals. Every member has a right to organize and be politically active. Here are a list of Local, PFFA, and IAFF expectations:
